Moon Cresta is a classic shoot 'em up arcade game released in 1980 by Nichibutsu. It was designed by Shigeki Fujiwara and is considered one of the early vertical scrolling shooters. In the game, players control a spaceship that can dock with other modules to become a larger and more powerful ship.

The gameplay involves navigating through space, shooting enemies, and docking with additional modules to enhance your firepower. Moon Cresta is known for its challenging gameplay and was well-received in the arcades during its time.

After all these years and actual experience feeding this thing quarters back in the day, I still suck at this game. You did a great job with it.

So cool! Great choice for pico8 remake, it was one of my favourite arcades at the time, the docking feature was absolutely brilliant. I think you did an awesome job, everything feels exactly like the original (I'd juuust tweak a lil bit the start-game tune but the rest is perfect)

You wont believe the amount of time and effort went into getting the tunes/effects working. I’m so inept when it comes to music, there’s more chance of me walking on Mars than creating proper music. But thankyou ;)

Getting better, high score 23610.

It's curious how the first two waves are the hardest / probable cause of losing a ship.

About the tune I'd like to help (fixing those couple issues), send me a msg at the Pico8 discord in case.
