*note* No vegetables were hurt in the making of this video game, although my dog did suffer slightly when I stepped on his foot accidentally.

TL;DR blurb

Its a game remake of the original game created by myself back in 2007 for a Retro Remakes completion based on the TV show "Look around you" and made to look like a retro 8-bit game. The plan is simple, "Kill All Vegetables".

INSTRUCTIONS

The game is a single screen shooter consisting of 9 distinct stages.

Stage 1 - Intergalactic peas

Strings of peas march there way down the screen. Only the tail end can be shot before the head can be destroyed.

Stage 2 - Cosmic carrots

Each hit of a carrot cracks it open and flings shards of carrots down towards you, until nothing is left.

Stage 3 - Solar tomatoes

Squeeze those tomatoes dry. Each hit shrinks the tomato until there is nothing left.

Stage 4 - Mutant sweetcorn

Sweetcorn in a cob formation rotates across the screen. Just shoot them down before the reach you.

Stage 5 - Astro smashing spuds

Spuds are falling from the sky. Smash those spuds. Each potato splits into 2 smaller spuds until there is nothing left.

Stage 6 - Frenzied sprouts

Sprouts zig-zag across the screen, protected by there leafy shield. Only a well placed shot will knock out the sprout.

Stage 7 - Atomic mushrooms

Watch those fungi slowly grow and sprout, flinging its fleshy stem towards you. Shoot the stem before its fully formed. 

Stage 8 - Broccoli attack

Rows of broccoli fill the sky, but they only attack if provoked by you shooting them !

Stage 9 - Space Cabbage

The final challenge. Take out the cabbages defensive shield, then 20 well placed shots will finally bring this cabbage to its knees. 

Once you complete stage 9 you start again from stage 1 but at a harder level.
